Our Story

How Teakia began

TEAKIA was founded in 2008 by Farooq — a craftsman in trade who wanted to make his mark in the furniture industry. With a shared vision in mind, he yearned to redefine the way people perceived and experienced furniture, blending exceptional design, sustainability, and social responsibility.

His dream was to create a haven where customers could find handcrafted, high-quality furniture that not only adorned their homes but also contributed to a greater purpose. Armed with creativity, determination, and a strong belief in their mission, they spent countless hours researching sustainable materials, seeking out skilled artisans, and designing furniture pieces that captured the essence of their vision.

Now with the help of his son, he looks on to mark his legacy.
