Most bedside tables are boxes. The HALO is a box that went to design school — softly rounded corners, gently splayed legs, and a drawer handle carved from the teak itself rather than bolted on. It reads warm and light in the room, the kind of piece that makes a bedroom feel considered rather than furnished.

Compact furniture is usually where manufacturers cut hardest — thinner boards, cheaper cores, veneer over foam-light frames.
